Today's article is about my new mount and observatory which was built in a few last months. Well, let me start from beginning.
After finishing observatory I brought all components of my new mount and telescope inside and got them on its proper place.
The moving roof is necessary for observing. I decided to cover the whole observatory with sheetmetal.
First part of observatory. It is a wooden skeleton.
This day was very important for further heading of my hobby. New mount would be completed and I would have a proper mount for my telescopes. I was happy as a child.
Before building a new observatory I had to measure the place of a basement below the mount. Orientation was very importatnt.
There are a few photos of the first phase. At that time the whole observatory was only in my head and, of course, on a paper as a graphical design.
After two years I have come back to this amazing object. I spent two nights observing the Perseids during capturing photos. They were perfect.

This night was a holiday for me. My new mount in my new observatory began to carry a new telescope – 36cm Newton. The sky was not absolutely clear and it was often very foggy, however, for testing it was good enough.
This May is full of raining. However, mathematical simulations had predicted a gap among the clouds in the middle of this night, so I decided to go to my small observatory. During preparations (for night observing and taking photos) it was pouring down. It looked awful and I was not sure whether simulation results were right or not. Suddenly, the Sun showed its face and created a nice rainbow. After that the weather began to change and, for my pleasure, the predicted gap between two low pressure areas arrived.
There were several moondogs in the sky. The Moon was only a day after full moon.
There are a few notes and feelings from expedition.

Finally the spring has arrived. Everybody can feel it in the air. The sun in the sky produced 22° halo and sun dog.
At noon there was a sun halo in the sky. It was worthy taking a picture.
The weather was horrible last months. Really, there were few days without clouds. It is rather depressing. No wonder that I was pleased with observing halos in the sky during my lunch break. As you can find out, my last contribution was added over 5 months ago. Too long time…
